Elevate your fused glass projects to a higher level! Use fusible decals for a permanent, professional finish on customized projects. Create personalized and themed glass items uniquely your own with the addition of customized decals. Place images, names, or words on your handmade glass creations; learn how to do this by creating your own fusible decals. This comprehensive class will give you all the knowledge, tips, and tricks to make your own decals AND have successful kiln firings of the decals onto fused glass items.

This class will teach you all about what fusible decals are, what they are made of, and how they can be used to decorate glass items and artwork. Learn how to design and cut-out your own images using various techniques, including the use of cutting machines. Learn how to create names & numbers in decals and how to apply them to the glass. Learn about colored decals, glow-in-the-dark decals, and precious metal decals.

This interactive workshop will be informative & creative, and produce a 4” x 4” sampler tile full of your own decals. Participants take the tile home, let the decals dry overnight to the tile, then kiln fire the tile to sinter the decals onto the glass. Participants will also receive written information and instructions to keep.
