Cast Hearts and Flowers

Always wanted to try glass casting but not sure where to begin? Join us for this 2-hour project class and create one-of-a-kind fused glass pocket hearts, pebbles and pendants in a variety of shapes. These little glass gems are just the ticket to brighten someone’s day any day, not just on Valentine’s Day. Learn about glass color choices, how to calculate the amount of glass needed, how to layer powder and place the glass to produce smooth edges and minimize bubbles. We’ll also discuss how to decide whether to use kiln wash or boron nitride spray.
Pieces will be fired after class, and available for pick up at a future date.
All levels welcome! No glass cutting required, or experience needed.
