Featured Glass Artist: Richard Parrish
Richard Parrish, owner of Fusio Studio, specializes in kilnformed glass. Richard has taught glass classes all over the world and is a regular teacher here at Ed Hoy’s International. Richard’s glass artwork includes fine art glass, freestanding and wall hung panels, architectural installations, and design elements. He holds a Master of Architecture degree from the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. Richard’s beautiful work was selected for the Corning Museum of Glass’s New Glass Review 27, and he was awarded the American Craft Council Award of Achievement in 2003. We were fortunate to meet Richard when he became one of our glass educators here at Ed Hoy’s International. Richard is a student favorite whose classes create a waiting list every year.
