Artist: Gloria Badiner
Featured Glass Artist: Gloria Badiner
Gloria Badiner, owner of Arts and Artifacts Studio, is a former scientist turned glass artist. Gloria primarily works with fused glass and cast glass, letting the themes of night and day, nature, and human ritual guide her creations. Because of her scientific knowledge of how glass works, in addition to creating stunning glass art, Gloria also serves as a technical consultant to the glass industry and teaches kilnforming across the US. You can find Gloria’s beautiful art glass pieces in downtown Chicago’s Ronald McDonald House, and inside an embassy in Washington D.C. along with various galleries around the United States.
Gloria has been a long time customer and partner of Ed Hoy’s, often sharing her extensive glass skills with our customers in the classroom and at our special events.
“Ed Hoy’s International is the studio artist’s resource for kilnforming products. Their emphasis on education serves our community well with access to a wide variety of techniques taught by the artists themselves. All of this within a professional framework with personal service.”
