Transport fused glass to the next level by adding a 'blown glass style' stemmed foot to a draped bowl. Use the 48M138 Circle Foot Casting Mold to create a 3 1/4" (8.3 cm) diameter cast glass disk. Then shape and fuse the foot to the base of a bowl during a standard drape firing schedule. The bowl shown below was created on an Starfire Drape mold. Standard fiber paper softens and compresses at draping temperatures, but these precisely cut reinforced rings remain stable.
