SYSTEM 96 CASTING PLATES
Formed and formulated for the specific demands of Kiln Casting. These rectangular billets are 6" x 12" in size, 1/2" thick, and weigh approx. 3.5 lbs. each. They are highly devit resistant with exceptional flow characteristics and a low bubble count and first-rate clarity. Ten 6" x 12" plates per box (approx. 35 lbs.). Also available as blocks (random-sized shapes larger than 2") and chunks (random-sized shapes smaller than 2").

SEPIA SLIDES
Sepia slides are fusible waterslides. When applied to light colored glass and taken to a full fuse the images become a permanent sepia (red brown to dark brown) color. Sepia slides look great on: Light colors (ivory & white) then placed on another color; Clear iridized (on iridized side) then placed on clear or light color; Dichroic (on dichroic side) then placed on clear or light color. The double layer, full fused, makes a nicely rounded shape. 12 designs each.

This hardware is for the round wall sconce #483801. This hardware bracket is 20 gauge galvanized steel with a maximum 75w candelabra socket UL approved. Use flex adjustment clips to hold glass; no need to drill holes.

COLLOIDAL SILICA RIGIDIZER/HARDENER
A compound used with fiber paper/blankets in mold making. Soak the blanket and mold the shape. Product is cured by forced heat drying, not to exceed 1300°F (704°C), to remove the moisture in the inorganic binder. Rigidized mold should withstand several firings. Affected by freezing, may not be shipped from November thru March.

FRIT MAKER
Make an assortment of frit and powder from scrap glass. Heavy duty all steel glass crusher, a two piece mortar and pestle will produce a batch of frit in 20 to 30 seconds. The crushed glass makes a full assortment of frit from powder to course frit. Accessory Frit Sorter/Sifter #15351 will sort out the crushed batch into 4 sizes from 5.20mm to .20 powder. It affords the opportunity to re-crush the larger frit to smaller sizes if desired.

FRIT SIFTER
Pays for itself using scrap glass to make frit! A four piece sifter set. Each individual sifter has a different mesh. Sifters nest with the largest mesh screen on top and progressively smaller screens follow to the bottom. Scrap glass is crushed with the mortar and pestle Frit Maker #15350. Produces frit from coarse (5.2mm) to powder (.20mm). If more small frit is required, the coarse sizes may be recrushed.

SCARABS & ANKHS MOLD
The scarab is associated with rebirth and good luck. The ankh is the Ancient Egyptian hieroglyph signifying "life". Use your Microwave to Fuse Glass! The MicroFusion Kiln fires glass quickly and easily. Place glass project on the kiln washed base of the kiln. Set the lid and insert the entire kiln into the microwave oven. In 5 to 8 minutes the project piece is fused. Cool to room temperature on a heat resistant surface. The lid braces have been redesigned with a unique cam system to prevent catching. The 3 position lid prop has 2 venting positions and a lock position. The strongest mold mix available for glass casting. The choice for casting large pieces or configurations that will place significant stress on the mold material. Excellent for openface casting, pate de verre or slumping. Addition of a face coat is not necessary. The plaster rich formulation, when properly water mixed, flows into the tiniest crevasses, transforms into gypsum and a hard set. A face coat is naturally formed during the process. 50 lb. carton.
