Sugar skulls are funky and festive, traditionally created in commemoration of Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, which joyfully celebrates the lives of lost loved ones. Design your own sugar skull using powder wafers, sheet glass and frits. Students may create a free-standing panel or chose to slump their skull as a plate. While prior glass cutting and fusing experience would be beneficial, it is not required.
